Nokia Xpress is a browser for Lumia Windows Phone whose main function is to minimize your data and battery consumption, saving you time as you visit web pages.
Faster and less data consumption
According to its creators, with Nokia Xpress you can save up to 90% of data consumption per page. This is possible thanks to the program servers, which compress information in each page so that it loads faster, much like Opera Mini.
On top of this, Nokia Xpress uses the features of Windows Phone to offer quick links in Live Tile mode, a Magazine mode to view a better layout of your favorite pages, and a conveniently integrated RSS reader.
A quick search via Bing, offline browsing, and the ability to immediately translate pages in ten different languages are among the many advantages that make Nokia Xpress the most promising browser for Lumia phones.
A minimalist browser
Nokia Xpress browser is very comfortable to use. It's minimal, but it optimizes the space on your mobile screen to show as much information as possible.
The only thing I've noticed is that there are a few glitches with certain pages. Facebook, for example, sometimes doesn't display the Like button. Otherwise, it's a solid web browser that while not too flashy, is very effective.
An alternative to Explorer
Since Firefox and Chrome are unavailable for Windows Phone, Nokia Xpress stands out as a serious alternative to Internet Explorer. It's quite minimalist, and a little too simple at times, but this helps it optimize your data and battery consumption, which I was able to see in my tests (although not as much as the developer indicates).
